These terms and conditions apply to your use of this website and to any booking enquiry you start here. By browsing the site or clicking through to reserve a vehicle, you accept the terms below. 1. Who we are and what this service does

Car Podgorica runs this website as an independent comparison and introduction service for car hire in Podgorica, Montenegro. We are not a rental company: we do not own a fleet, employ rental agents or operate a rental office. What we do is gather live offers from independent local rental companies (the "suppliers") and present them through the reservation platform of our booking partner, so that you can compare cars, prices and conditions in one place.

When you complete a reservation, the rental contract is always concluded directly between you and the supplier named on your booking confirmation and voucher. The supplier — not Car Podgorica — provides the vehicle, checks your documents, collects any deposit and handles the hire from key handover to return.

2. Use of the website

You may use this site for lawful, personal purposes: researching car hire in and around Podgorica, comparing offers and making genuine booking enquiries. You agree not to submit speculative or fraudulent reservations, not to scrape, copy or republish the content or price data shown here, and not to interfere with the operation of the site or the booking platform it connects to. We may suspend or restrict access to anyone misusing the service.

3. Bookings, prices and payment

Prices shown on this site are live rates supplied by the rental companies through our booking partner and are quoted in euros (EUR), the currency used in Montenegro. Rates move with season, demand and availability, so a price is only fixed once your reservation is confirmed. What each rate includes — insurance level, mileage allowance, additional drivers, child seats and similar extras — varies from listing to listing and is stated on the offer page and on your voucher.

Any security deposit, excess or insurance arrangement belongs to the supplier's own terms. Many local suppliers in Podgorica work with no or low deposits, while others pre-authorise a modest amount on a payment card; the exact figure and accepted payment methods are shown before you confirm. Payment for the rental itself is made to the supplier or through the booking platform, as indicated during checkout.

4. Cancellations and changes

Cancellation and amendment rights are governed by the rate conditions displayed at the time of booking. Most offers listed here carry a free cancellation window ending a set number of hours before pickup, but the precise cut-off and any fees are stated on your voucher — always check it rather than assuming. Changes to dates, times or vehicle category may re-price the booking at the rates valid when the change is made. Cancellations and amendments are processed by the booking platform or the supplier, not by Car Podgorica directly.

5. Driver requirements

Each supplier sets its own driver rules, including minimum and maximum age, minimum length of time you must have held a full driving licence, any young-driver surcharge and which licences or International Driving Permits are accepted. These conditions appear on the offer page; it is your responsibility to make sure every driver meets them and brings the required documents to pickup. Plans to take the car across a border — for example into Albania or Croatia — normally require the supplier's advance written permission and may carry a fee, so raise this before you travel.

6. Our liability

We publish the information on this site in good faith and work to keep prices, distances and practical advice about Podgorica accurate and current, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is free of error or that a particular car will be available. Because we are an introduction service and not the rental provider, we are not responsible for the condition of vehicles, the conduct of suppliers, delays at handover, or any loss or damage arising from the rental agreement itself — those matters sit with the supplier under its contract with you. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Intellectual property

The texts, layout, graphics, logos and compilation of information on this website belong to Car Podgorica or are used under licence. You may print or save pages for your own trip planning, but you may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit any part of the site without our prior written consent. Trade marks of vehicle manufacturers and suppliers remain the property of their respective owners and are used purely to identify the cars and companies concerned.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example when the booking platform, our partners or the law change. The version published on this page at the moment you use the site is the one that applies to you. Significant changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date below, so please review this page occasionally if you use the site regularly.

9. Governing law and contact

These website terms are governed by the laws of Montenegro, and any dispute about them falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts there. Your rental agreement with a supplier may state its own governing law.
