Voices from the road

We landed close to midnight and were on the road inside half an hour. The desk was still staffed and nobody tried to sell us cover we had already paid for.

The price quoted online was the price on the counter.

Having a car for the week meant two days out of our own choosing rather than a coach tour, and we were still back in time for dinner both nights.

Handover took about ten minutes and the fuel level matched the paperwork. The car park is a short walk from arrivals, which nobody warns you about.

Driving with two small children was far easier than queuing for a transfer with everyone else off our flight.

Good value for a week in high season, and the coast road is in better condition than I expected.
